NAME: Moneky B (Joaquín Vismara)
LOCATION: Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Con tan solo 24 años, este joven DJ y productor nacido en Buenos Aires, ha logrado posicionarse en la escena tanto local como global como una referencia de la nueva camada de artistas Argentinos dedicados al sonido techno.
Comenzó como dj con tan solo 15 años y su primer gig profesional en un club fue a los 19, desde entonces fue desarrollando su sonido y a fines de 2006 es convocado por Cocoliche (club más importante de la escena techno latinoamericana) para formar parte del staff residente.
Ese mismo año comenzó a producir música, y en 2007 su trabajo rindió frutos y vio la luz a través del sello berlines Snork, mismo sello que en 2008 edito su track Foward Funk, que lo catapulto a la fama al recibir el apoyo de artistas como Richie Hawtin, Marc Houle y Magda entre otros.
Su estilo es una mezcla de techno-funk, minimal y acid inteligente, y sus sets están cargados de groove oscuro y líneas de bajo bien gordas que son ya una marca registrada.
Hoy se encuentra trabajando en su proyecto live sin laptop, solo hardware, que seguro dará mucho que hablar y en su próximo LP.
Monkey B compartió cabina con Seth Troxler, Lee Curtis, Pan-Pot, Mariano Dc, Carla Tintore & Udolph entre otros.

24 years old, this young DJ and producer borned in Buenos Aires, has managed to position itself in the local scene as in the global, as a reference of the new wave of Argentine artists dedicated to techno sound.
It began as dj with only 15 years old and his first professional gig in a club was at his early 19´s. Since then was developing his sound and by the end of 2006 was requested by Cocoliche (most important club of the Techno scene) in order to be part of the resident staff.
That same year began to produce music, and ater finally working hard in 2007 it saw the light through Snork Berliner label, same label that in 2008 published his track Foward Funk, that catapulted him to the fame when receiving the support of Richie Hawtin, Marc Houle y Magda, etc.
His style is a mixture of techno-funk, intelligent minimal and acid, and his sets is loaded of groove dark and fat lines of low that is already a registered tradename.
Today he is working in his live prject without laptop, only hardware, that surely will give much that to speak and as in his next LP.
